Navigating a Project's Price & Finance Page

Here is an overview of the Price & Finance Page:

• Sales Overview
  • Explanation: The “Sales Overview” at the top of the Finance page allows you to edit the overall Sale Price or by Price/W as well as add Tax. 
  • Purpose: This provides the option to edit the Sales Prices to move quickly to the next step of the process which is downloading the proposal. Incorporating taxes updates the "Effective" Sales Price or Price/Watt accordingly.
    
    
• Sales Price Breakdown
  • Explanation: Here you can setup as well as edit and/or download the Bill of Materials.
  • Purpose: Having a detailed and accurate Bill of Materials is crucial for proper planning, procurement, and installation of a solar PV system. It helps ensure that all necessary components are accounted for and that the system functions efficiently and safely.
  • Under Sales Overview on the project's Financial page, you will find the Sales Price Breakdown. This allows you to select/unselect items which will automatically adjust the Sale Price above. 
  • You can download an Excel version of BOM by by clicking on the Download BOM tab on the Price and Finance page.
    
    
• Incentives & Credits
  • Explanation: This allows you to select from a preconfigured profile or manually enter data to display incentives and/or credits for the project specific to your state/region.
  • Purpose: Accurately calculate and present the sum of incentives and credits for a project if applicable.
    
    
• Finance Options
  • Explanation: Present a comprehensive comparison among two distinct finance choices, in addition to a cash payment alternative, offering your customers detailed insights such as Total Project Amount, 25 Years NET savings and Financing Payments per month.
    
  • Purpose: Offering diverse solar financing choices featuring various terms and Annual Percentage Rates empowers your customers to align with their preferences when advancing with the project. This flexibility enables them to compare crucial details like payback periods and contractor fees, aiding in selecting the most suitable option. Presenting these specifics equips clients to carefully evaluate their choices, enabling informed decisions that align with their financial objectives and aspirations for long-term savings.
    
• Publish Proposal
  • Explanation: Preview or download a PDF proposal customized to show exactly the information you would like generated from the platform. 
  • Purpose: Providing visual representations of the design alongside financial data and hardware specifics offers customers a vivid and comprehensive analysis of their prospective project. Presenting these elements within the proposal often signifies the final step before closing the sale with the customer.
  • Once the design is complete & you are satisfied with the pricing and financing click on Publish Proposal to select the proposal template you would like to use.
