How do I add Energy Storage to my Design

For Energy Storage Option to be enabled, you need to have subscribed for the Solar+Storage package. 

In the bill analysis section, for the bill data, please select Interval Data Input, as Storage needs interval data for accurate analysis.

The select "Update Bill". In the window that pops up, choose either "Upload Interval Data" or "Choose a Load Profile". Upload Interval Data allows you to upload a 15 minute or hourly load profile for an entire year. If that data is unavailable you can choose the "Choose a Load Profile" option, select the building profile and enter the energy consumption and demand charge data from the utility bill. Enact's platform will create a hourly load profile based on this data.

Once this information is entered, go to "Create a Quote" and then add the PV and Inverters. In the Storage tab, select the Manufacturer and Model of the Energy Storage System, provide the quantity of storage units required, and set a reserve ratio (how much of the energy in the system will be reserved for a backup event). 

Then click on System Results, to see how the Solar plus Storage device will reduce the utility energy consumption.
