Adjust Inter-row spacing in a design

Inter-row spacing in solar design refers to the distance between rows of solar panels in a ground-mounted or roof-mounted system. Proper inter-row spacing is essential to avoid shading between rows, maximise energy production, and ensure efficient use of space.

Inter-row spacing can be adjusted in the design using the below steps:
  1. Outline the roof using "Free Form" under the Roof section
  2. Add panels using "Fill Roof" under Panel layout, within the traced out roof section
  3. Inter-row Spacing is available only when array type is "Flush" or "Fixed Tilt"

  4. Under Panel Properties click on "Show More"
  5. Adjust the row spacing under "Inter-row Space" 
    When panels are initially added, the inter-row spacing is automatically calculated (only for the first time) based on factors such as array tilt, location, and panel size. After this, users will need to manually adjust the inter-row spacing.
