Allocating different solar savings for different meters depends on your system setup, metering arrangement, and billing structure. Here are the main approaches you can use:
1. Proportional Allocation Based on Consumption
- If multiple meters are linked to the same solar system, allocate savings based on each meter’s proportion of total energy consumption.
- Example: If Meter A consumes 60% of total energy and Meter B consumes 40%, then savings should be split accordingly.
2. Fixed Percentage Allocation
- You can decide a fixed percentage split based on agreement among the meter owners or tenants.
- Example: Meter A gets 50% of savings, Meter B gets 30%, and Meter C gets 20%.
In Enact , you can model this by toggling on the "Additional Tools" option assailable on the left side of the Design Tool. Once you toggle it on , you will then see Meter options available on the right. You can select the drop down on the "Meter" section & allocate the desired percentage/meter.
