How to determine energy generation?

Enact Home is a solar and storage monitoring platform to help users understand their system’s health and performance. Energy generation is one of the key metrics we show users.

To find your energy generation, log into Enact Home using your email and password. After logging in, scroll down to find “Your Solar System.” The visual display is underneath “Your Solar System” and displays your system’s energy generation in a yellow bar graph. Energy generation is calculated from the information Enact Home receives from your solar system.

Above the “Your Solar System” graph will be quick energy generation facts showing:

  • Your actual generation this month
  • Your monthly generation average
  • Your daily generation average
  • A comparison of your actual vs. estimated generation

The energy generation bar graph displays your actual generation, shown in bold yellow, and your estimated generation, shown in light yellow. Your generation will be shown in kilowatt hours (kWh) each month. At the top of the graph, users can click the drop down menu to view previous years’ energy generation.
