Why do I not see stringing option for my selected Inverter?

Why do I not see stringing option for my selected Inverter?

You may not see the stringing option as it will be enabled under the following conditions:
1. Project Type

  • The project must be a new residential project.
  • For commercial and old projects , you might be unable to locate stringing option.

2. Panel Data Requirements

  • The following panel parameters must be available in the Panel Hardware section:
    • Electrical - Voc STC (V) , Isc STC (A) , Vmp STC (V) , Imp STC (A)
    • Temperature - NOCT (°C) , Temp Coeff Pmax (% / °C) , Temp Coeff Voc (% / °C)
      • Please note :
        • NOCT input range should be within -120 & +120
        •  Accepted input is ONLY decimal numbers. Please DONOT input a range.

3. Inverter Data Requirements

  • Inverter type must be either “String” or “Hybrid”.
  • The following inverter parameters must be available in the Inverter Hardware section:
    • MPPT voltage Max (V)
    • MPPT voltage Min (V)
    • Number of MPPTs
    • Number of PV strings per MPPT
      • Please note :
        • Inupt accepted is Positive whole numbers.
        • If the number of PV Strings is different in the inverters MPPT, then we suggest to add the highest PV Strings accepted. When Stringing is run,  unavailable strings can be edited to 0 and unwired panels can be adjusted elsewhere.
